About The Space Wiki
The Space Wiki is an independent encyclopedia of space exploration. It currently holds 53 articles covering space agencies and companies, launch vehicles, crewed and robotic missions, the people behind them, core concepts, and the destinations we explore, from the start of the Space Age in 1957 through the missions flying today.
Editorial approach
Every article follows the same rules: facts are verified against primary and reputable secondary sources before publication, every article ends with a numbered reference list, and inline citation markers tie specific claims to those sources. When a figure cannot be verified, it is omitted rather than guessed. Articles about active programs carry an "updated" date and are revised as missions fly, land, or change.
Reusing our content
Text on this site is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license: reuse it with attribution and share adaptations under the same terms. Photographs credited to NASA are in the public domain as works of the US federal government; other imagery is credited where it appears.
